A man in his 60s was critically injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Laurel Canyon Boulevard near Terra Bella Street in Pacoima, Los Angeles, on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the white pickup truck was heading north on Laurel Canyon Boulevard when it hit the pedestrian who was walking near the crosswalk.
The driver did not stop and continued north on Laurel Canyon Boulevard without rendering aid.
The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. His identity has not been released.
A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to the driver involved in the hit-and-run.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further details were immediately available.
