[02-11-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Two Killed in Fiery Rollover Crash on Southbound 405 Freeway in Westchester

Two people were killed in a fiery rollover crash on the southbound 405 Freeway in Westchester, Los Angeles, early Wednesday morning, February 11, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 2:00 a.m. near La Tijera Boulevard. 

CHP initially received a report of a possible solo-vehicle rollover. Upon arrival, crews found a white sedan overturned and fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze while CHP closed the southbound freeway to respond to the emergency.

Two individuals were determined dead at the scene, though their ages and genders have not been released. 

Investigators are working to determine if weather conditions, as rain returned to the region for the first time in over a month, played a role in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
