A pedestrian was killed after being struck by an SUV in Sunland, Los Angeles, late Friday night, February 7, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers from the Valley Division responded to the 8300 block of Foothill Boulevard between Scoville and Parr Avenues around 11:15 p.m., where they found the pedestrian lying in the roadway.
Investigators determined that the driver was traveling west on Foothill Boulevard when they struck the pedestrian.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
The crash remains under investigation.
