[02-01-2025] Two People Seriously Injured After Multi-Vehicle Crash on Oxnard PlainTwo people sustained serious injuries following a multi-vehicle crash on the Oxnard Plain on Saturday morning, February 1, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol and Ventura County Fire Department, the accident was reported shortly after 10:00 a.m. near Las Posas and Hueneme Roads. Multiple vehicles were involved in the collision.

Ventura County’s Copter 9 was dispatched, and roads were temporarily closed around 10:30 a.m. to allow for a medical helicopter landing. One critically injured patient was airlifted to Ventura County Medical Center, while a second seriously injured person was transported via ground ambulance to the same hospital.

Two other individuals sustained moderate or minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to Los Robles Regional Medical Center.

CHP logs indicated that one vehicle struck a pole, trapping an occupant inside. Another vehicle may have collided with it, but the exact sequence of events remains unclear. At least two vehicles reportedly sustained major front-end damage.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
