A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in San Benito County on Thursday evening, August 21, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 6:40 p.m. on Highway 156 near Buena Vista Road.
Authorities said the incident involved a vehicle striking an adult man. No description of the vehicle has been provided.
The victim’s identity will be released once the next of kin have been notified.
