A 34-year-old Long Beach man died in a motorcycle crash with a minivan in Garden Grove on Sunday morning, August 17, 2025.
According to the Garden Grove Police Department, the collision occurred around 9:42 a.m. in the 9100 block of Garden Grove Boulevard near Cannery Street.
Officers arrived to find the rider of a 2005 Suzuki motorcycle unresponsive. Orange County Fire Authority personnel assessed his injuries, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the driver of the other vehicle, a 28-year-old Garden Grove man operating a 2001 Honda Odyssey, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
