A motorcyclist died in a hit-and-run collision in Wildomar on Wednesday evening, August 13, 2025.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred shortly after 6 p.m. at the intersection of Bundy Canyon Road and Harvest Way.
Sgt. Brad Foster said the motorcyclist, whose identity has not been released, was traveling through the intersection when his bike collided with another vehicle under circumstances still under investigation. The impact threw the rider into a ravine, and the driver fled the scene.
Paramedics arrived within minutes and attempted lifesaving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities said alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
An autopsy is pending, and investigators are working to locate the suspect. No description of the vehicle has been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
