![[08-11-2025] Driver Arrested After Fleeing Scene of Two-Vehicle Crash in Cabazon](https://ak1.to//i^cps.webp)
A driver was taken into custody after fleeing on foot from the scene of a two-vehicle collision in Cabazon, Riverside County, on Monday afternoon, August 11, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly before 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Bonita Avenue and Orange Street.
With assistance from Riverside County sheriff’s deputies, the suspect, whose name has not been released, was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor hit-and-run.
It was not immediately known if the other driver was injured. CHP said alcohol or drugs are not believed to have been factors in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
