Two people were killed, and another was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash in Moreno Valley on Saturday, August 2, 2025.
The collision occurred at 5:59 p.m. at the intersection of Pigeon Pass Drive and Cougar Canyon Drive. Deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station arrived to find a vehicle with significant collision damage.
The driver and one passenger were pronounced dead at the scene, while the second passenger was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station Traffic Reconstruction team is investigating the crash, and the cause remains undetermined.
Authorities have not yet released the identities of the deceased pending notification of next of kin. It is unclear if alcohol or drugs played a role in the incident.
