Two people were critically injured in a solo vehicle crash on Tulloch Dam Road in Tuolumne County early Saturday morning, August 2, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred just before 3:00 a.m. when a Dodge Charger struck a tree near the dam, off Highway 108/120 in the Keystone area.
First responders found two individuals pinned inside the vehicle, with one unconscious. Firefighters extricated both victims, who were flown to a hospital in Modesto with major injuries.
The driver of the Dodge Charger fled the scene on foot and is currently being sought by authorities. No additional information on the driver’s identity has been released.
The wreckage was cleared by 7:05 a.m., and the CHP continues to investigate the incident.
