A 62-year-old man was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash while riding his bicycle in the Golden Hill area of San Diego on Monday evening, July 28, 2025.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the collision occurred around 7:25 p.m. in the 2400 block of F Street. The bicyclist was struck by a vehicle that fled westbound on F Street from 25th Street.
Video footage showed the suspect vehicle as a gray-colored car with black rims and likely front-end damage. The driver was described as a man between 28 and 32 years old, accompanied by a female passenger.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about the suspect or vehicle to contact the SDPD Traffic Division or the Crime Stoppers tip line. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
