A bicyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle in Hesperia late Monday night, July 28, 2025.
According to the Hesperia Police Department, the incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. on Main Street, just west of Pyrite Avenue.
Deputies responded to the scene and found a damaged bicycle off the roadway, along with scattered debris and personal belongings. The bicyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim’s identity, age, and gender have not been released.
The vehicle involved was a black 2018 Tesla Model 3, which sustained major front-end damage. It came to a stop near the Aqueduct in front of Extra Space Storage. The male driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
