A man died at the hospital following a three-vehicle crash in Modesto on Saturday afternoon, July 19, 2025.
According to the Modesto Police Department, the crash occurred around 2:20 p.m. on Sisk Road near Standiford Avenue.
The man was driving southbound when he struck a pole in the center median, continued on to hit another pole, then crossed into northbound traffic and collided with two vehicles.
No other drivers or passengers reported injuries, and all parties remained at the scene. Police said drugs and alcohol are not suspected to be factors in the crash.
The incident prompted a temporary road closure in the area, which has since been cleared. The investigation is ongoing.
