A 24-year-old man was hospitalized with serious leg injuries after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash in the Mission Valley East neighborhood of San Diego on Friday afternoon, July 18, 2025.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the collision occurred around 3:40 p.m. in the 5000 block of Qualcomm Way. The driver involved fled the scene before officers arrived.
Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital after he sustained fractures to both his tibia and fibula.
Authorities are investigating the incident as a hit-and-run.
