A 25-year-old female bicyclist was critically injured after being struck by a pickup truck in Napa on Monday evening, July 14, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 221 and Imola Avenue and involved a gray Dodge Ram 5500.
Napa police reported that the bicyclist was transported to a hospital for treatment of critical injuries. The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
The crash took place in a commercial area on the southern edge of Napa, where Highway 221 transitions into Highway 121/Soscol Avenue.
Police issued a traffic alert shortly after 6:30 p.m., advising drivers to avoid the area while emergency services responded.
Traffic on northbound Highway 221 was slowed due to the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
