A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a motorcycle in Lancaster early Tuesday morning, July 15, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the collision occurred around midnight at the intersection of Avenue J and Kingtree Avenue.
Authorities stated that a man riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle westbound on Avenue J hit a man who was crossing Kingtree Avenue outside of a crosswalk.
Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
It is currently unknown whether the motorcyclist sustained any injuries. Investigators have not determined if speed, alcohol, or drugs played a role in the incident.
The crash remains under investigation.
