No injuries were reported after a two-vehicle collision led to the arrest of a man suspected of felony DUI on State Route 14 in Santa Clarita on Friday morning, July 4, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to the northbound lanes of SR-14 at the Escondido Canyon Road on-ramp, where they contacted a 28-year-old Phelan man.
Following an investigation, the man was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI, including having four or more DUI offenses within the past 10 years.
The suspect was transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital for a chemical test and evaluation before being booked into the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
No other injuries or additional details were disclosed. The crash remains under investigation.
