A two-vehicle crash involving a fire was reported on Highway 4 in Stockton on Thursday evening, July 3, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 5:40 p.m. near the Filbert Street off-ramp.
One of the vehicles reportedly caught fire following the crash, and the Filbert Street offramp was shut down at approximately 5:46 p.m. to allow emergency crews to respond.
It is currently unknown if any injuries occurred, but CHP logs confirmed that medics were requested to the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
