A man and a woman were seriously injured in a solo motorcycle crash in Barstow on Sunday afternoon, June 22, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 4:52 p.m. on the southbound Interstate 15 transition to westbound State Route 58.
The 41-year-old man was riding a 2019 Harley Davidson motorcycle with a 43-year-old female passenger, both residents of Barstow.
For reasons still under investigation, the motorcycle veered off the roadway and overturned multiple times.
Emergency personnel from the Barstow Fire Department responded and both occupants were airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. The male rider was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
