A driver was hospitalized after crashing into a building at the Dunes Shopping Center in Marina on Friday, June 20, 2025.
According to the Marina Police Department, the incident occurred as the vehicle was traveling on Second Avenue when the driver suffered a medical emergency. The vehicle veered off the roadway, struck another vehicle and several fixed objects, and ultimately crashed into the shopping center building.
Emergency responders transported the driver to a nearby hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported.
Police said drugs and alcohol are not suspected as factors in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
