Over 20 passengers were injured when a shuttle bus carrying Disneyland guests braked suddenly to avoid a collision in Anaheim on Monday night, June 16, 2025.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. on Katella Avenue near the park when the bus came to an abrupt stop to avoid hitting another car.
Passengers and emergency responders said the sudden braking caused multiple people to be thrown from their seats. Some struck nearby poles or the backs of seats due to the force of the stop.
The bus was transporting guests back to a hotel at the time of the incident. According to fire officials, two people were taken to a hospital, and 19 others were evaluated at the scene.
The cause of the near-collision remains under review.
