One person was arrested following a two-vehicle crash in Imperial County late Sunday night, June 15, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 10:00 p.m. on State Route 86 near Avelon Drive.
Both vehicles involved ended up in the center divider of the highway. Authorities reported that two individuals sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash.
Following an investigation, one person was taken into custody for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The investigation is ongoing.
