[06-12-2025] Woman Killed After Being Struck in Two-Vehicle Crash on Olivas Park DriveA 34-year-old Ventura woman died after being struck during a two-vehicle crash while walking on Olivas Park Drive in Ventura on Thursday evening, June 12, 2025.

According to the Ventura Police Department, officers were dispatched around 8:55 p.m. to the area of Olivas Park Drive and Seaborg Avenue.

The authorities arrived to find the pedestrian with major injuries. She was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead later that evening. Her identity is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the woman was walking westbound on Olivas Park Drive when two vehicles collided behind her. One of the vehicles then struck the pedestrian, causing fatal injuries.

All drivers involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. One motorist suffered a minor head injury and was taken to a medical facility for further evaluation.

Police stated that drugs or alcohol are not believed to have been factors in the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.
