Two women sustained major injuries, and a male driver was arrested following a rollover crash involving a four-seat off-road vehicle in Los Banos on Wednesday evening, June 4, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. off Volker Road near Interstate 5.
The vehicle, carrying two men and two women aged 18 to 21, overturned while driving off-road. None of the occupants were wearing seatbelts.
One woman suffered significant hand injuries, and another sustained a broken femur. Both were airlifted to hospitals in Modesto for treatment. The other male passenger reported minor injuries.
The 21-year-old male driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. CHP confirmed that all individuals involved were from Modesto.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash.
