A man died, and a woman sustained major injuries in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 10 in Banning on Tuesday morning, June 3, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened shortly after 6:00 a.m. on eastbound I-10, west of Hargrave Street.
A 2019 Subaru Outback veered off the roadway and overturned. Two occupants from Oro Valley, Arizona, were inside the vehicle.
Emergency crews extricated both individuals. The male passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, while the female driver was hospitalized with major injuries.
Investigators have not yet determined whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. The incident remains under investigation by the CHP.
