A motorcyclist was killed following a traffic collision involving a car in San Jose on Thursday morning, May 29, 2025.
According to the San Jose Police Department, officers were dispatched around 6:45 a.m. to the area of Senter Road and Sylvandale Avenue.
Responding officers found a silver Harley-Davidson motorcycle and its rider down at the scene. The motorcyclist, identified only as an adult man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a Chevrolet Camaro was driving east on Buckeye Drive and entered the designated right-turn lane onto Sylvandale Avenue when it was broadsided by the northbound motorcycle on Senter Road. The driver of the Camaro remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
No further details were immediately available.
