Two individuals sustained critical injuries, and another person was moderately hurt following a three-vehicle collision in the Jefferson Park area of Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon, May 27, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash occurred at approximately 3:45 p.m. in the 2500 block of South Western Avenue.
Emergency responders arrived to find two victims trapped inside the wreckage. Firefighters extricated both individuals, including a 20-year-old man, and transported them to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
No further information was released about the second critically injured patient. A third individual involved in the crash was taken to the hospital in fair condition.
Authorities have not yet released details about what led to the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
