Possible minor injuries were reported following a crash near Thornton in south Sacramento County on Wednesday morning, May 28, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers were dispatched to the scene on New Hope Road west of Kost Road at approximately 7:51 a.m.
It remains unclear what caused the crash or how many vehicles were involved. Emergency personnel responded to assess the situation and treat those at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by CHP.
