An injury crash temporarily blocked all northbound lanes of Highway 101 south of University Avenue in East Palo Alto on Monday, May 26, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a severe traffic alert was issued following the collision, which caused significant delays in the area.
The number of vehicles and people involved has not yet been confirmed. Authorities advised drivers to expect delays and use alternate routes while the scene was cleared.
Shortly after 4:00 p.m., CHP announced that all lanes had reopened. The crash remains under investigation.
