A 23-year-old woman suffered severe injuries after being struck in a hit-and-run crash near Arlington Heights in Los Angeles on Friday night, May 9, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 10:35 p.m. as the woman was walking in a crosswalk on Crenshaw Boulevard, north of the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway on-ramp.
A southbound pickup truck hit the pedestrian and fled the scene without stopping to provide aid. Emergency responders transported the woman to a hospital with serious injuries. Her exact condition has not been released.
A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered by the city for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect. Authorities are actively investigating the crash.
