Three people were hospitalized after a vehicle crashed through a brick wall and landed in a residential pool in Rancho Palos Verdes early Sunday morning, May 11, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. at a home located near Hawthorne Boulevard and San Nicolas Drive.
The driver of a white car lost control, breached the property wall, and ended up submerged in the backyard pool.
Emergency responders transported all three occupants of the vehicle to a nearby hospital. The extent of their injuries has not been released.
Video footage from the scene showed a beer bottle and a can of nitrous oxide on top of the car, though investigators have not confirmed whether impairment was a factor.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
