A man was injured after being struck by a car that crashed into his home office on Pheasant Hollow Drive in West Sacramento on Monday afternoon, May 5, 2025.
According to the West Sacramento Fire Department, the incident occurred around 1:22 p.m. when a woman attempted to park in her driveway but accidentally accelerated in reverse, crashing into a garage across the street.
The garage, part of a three-car setup, had one side converted into a home office where the man was working at the time.
The victim sustained a leg injury and was transported for treatment. He is expected to recover, according to fire officials. The driver was not injured in the crash.
The cause of the incident remains under review by local authorities.
