A child riding a bicycle was injured after being struck by a vehicle in the Carmichael area of Sacramento County on Monday morning, May 5, 2025.
According to dispatcher radio communications, emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene around 7:48 a.m. at the intersection of Dewey Drive and Hillhurst Drive.
It is unclear what led to the collision. The child sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
