A driver suffered critical injuries following a traffic collision involving a semi-truck on Highway 395 in Victorville on Friday afternoon, May 2, 2025.
According to reports, the crash occurred at approximately 1:08 p.m. just before the intersection of Bear Valley Road.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and located a white Nissan sedan lodged underneath the trailer of a flatbed semi-truck.
Victorville Police and firefighters extricated the driver from the sedan, who was then transported by ground ambulance to St. Mary’s Medical Center with critical injuries. The driver’s identity has not been released.
Photos from the scene showed the Nissan with major front-end damage, a shattered windshield, and deployed airbags. The semi-truck was part of Equizabal Trucking and was hauling a flatbed trailer covered with tarps.
The crash remains under investigation by the Victorville Police Department.
