A 16-year-old boy was critically injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver while crossing Phillips Boulevard in Los Angeles on Saturday night, April 26, 2025.
According to family members, Brandon B. was crossing Phillips Boulevard to get picked up after attending a quinceañera party when he was hit by a vehicle. His father, Franklin B., witnessed the crash and saw the suspect flee the scene, leaving Brandon on the road.
Brandon sustained significant head trauma and remains in a coma at a local intensive care unit in critical condition.
The incident remains under investigation. Authorities have not yet released additional information about the suspect or the vehicle involved.
