Two people were injured and one driver was arrested following a collision on Reservation Road near the Highway 1 northbound on-ramp in Marina on Monday morning, April 28, 2025.
According to Marina police, the crash occurred around 7:20 a.m. and involved a Ford Fusion sedan and a Tesla Cybertruck.
Both drivers sustained moderate to major injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Ford, identified as 37-year-old Mario R., was arrested on multiple charges, including felony DUI causing injury, possession of assault rifles, and violating probation related to a prior DUI offense. He was booked into Monterey County Jail.
The incident remains under investigation.
