Four individuals were hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash involving a pickup truck that struck and sheared off a power pole at the intersection of Walnut and Laurelview Avenue in North Highlands, Sacramento County, on Saturday morning, April 12, 2025.
According to Sacramento Metropolitan Fire, emergency crews responded to the scene and found the truck with severe damage after colliding with the pole.
The driver required extrication from the vehicle, while the three other occupants were able to exit the truck without assistance.
All four individuals were evaluated at the scene and transported to a local hospital for further assessment. The extent of their injuries was not immediately disclosed.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
