An ambulance was dispatched following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 12 near the Southworth Road intersection in Wallace, Calaveras County, on Saturday morning, March 29, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred just before 8:00 a.m. and involved a Honda Accord sedan and an unidentified second vehicle.
The impact of the crash forced the Honda Accord into a water-filled ditch, with water reaching up to the bottom of the vehicle’s doors.
Authorities have not yet confirmed if any injuries were sustained.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
