At least one person sustained injuries and was transported to a hospital following a traffic collision in Valencia in Santa Clarita on Sunday afternoon, March 30, 2025.
According to Los Angeles County Fire Department Capt. Sheila Kelliher, the crash was reported at approximately 2:04 p.m. at Newhall Ranch Road and McBean Parkway.
Initial dispatch radio traffic indicated that a person was trapped in one of the vehicles, but officials later confirmed that no occupants were trapped.
Emergency responders transported at least one individual to the hospital. It remains unclear whether more than one person required hospitalization.
The collision reportedly involved a white SUV and a black Mercedes sedan, both of which were located within the intersection.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
