[03-25-2025] Teen E-Bike Rider Injured in Wrong-Way Crash in Rancho CucamongaA 16-year-old juvenile was hospitalized after a wrong-way crash involving an electric bike and a van in Rancho Cucamonga on Tuesday morning, March 25, 2025.

According to the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department, officers responded to the scene at approximately 8:35 a.m. at the intersection of Wardman Bullock Road and San Angelo Drive.

The teen was reportedly riding an e-bike on the wrong side of the road when a male driver in a van observed the oncoming cyclist and swerved in an attempt to avoid a collision. The teen was also said to have swerved in the same direction, resulting in a crash with the van.

The impact caused the teen to be ejected into the air and over the van before landing on the roadway. The injured rider was transported to a local hospital and was reported to be in stable condition.

The van driver was not injured. The identity of the teen has not been released, and the cause of the crash is currently under investigation by the RCPD.
