Two women were hospitalized after a solo crash sent their vehicle down a steep stairway at Knob Hill beach access in Redondo Beach early Tuesday morning, March 25, 2025.
According to the Redondo Beach Police Department, first responders arrived at the scene around 5:30 a.m. and discovered a white convertible lodged halfway down the narrow stairway with its airbags deployed and top down.
Witness Moe Kreag, a nearby resident, reported hearing a loud crash. He saw the two women following the incident and confirmed they were conscious and calling for help.
Both the driver and the passenger were transported to a hospital in stable condition. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
