One person sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to the hospital following a solo-vehicle crash involving a Tesla Cybertruck at El Mirage Dry Lake Bed in San Bernardino County, on Sunday afternoon, March 23, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 5:19 p.m. near Bella Vista Drive and Sheep Creek Road. The crash involved only the Tesla Cybertruck, which had three occupants at the time.
San Bernardino County Fire personnel responded to the scene and requested a medical helicopter due to the severity of the injuries. One individual, who suffered a head injury, was airlifted by Reach Air to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
The CHP’s Victorville Station is leading the investigation. The cause of the crash remains under review, and no additional details have been released at this time.
