Two people were injured, one seriously, following a two-vehicle crash in Taft on Friday morning, March 7, 2025.
According to authorities, the collision occurred around 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Cadet Road and Petroleum Club Road. The crash involved an SUV and a passenger car.
A man inside the SUV sustained a head laceration. In the passenger car, four occupants were present, with one suffering major injuries and requiring airlift transport to a hospital in Bakersfield. The other three declined medical treatment at the scene.
The Taft Police Department is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
