[02-01-2025] Pedestrian Injured After Hit-And-Run Crash on Leona Way in Granite BayA pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck in a hit-and-run crash in Granite Bay, Placer County, on Saturday afternoon, February 1, 2025.

According to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at approximately 3:20 p.m. in the 7800 block of Leona Way.

Emergency responders transported the injured pedestrian to a hospital for treatment. Their current condition remains unknown.

Authorities confirmed that a suspect had been taken into custody. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
