A three-vehicle crash in downtown San Andreas, Calaveras County, caused injuries and traffic delays on Highway 49 during the morning commute on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred shortly after 8 a.m. near Bellview Street and Calaveras High School.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene and confirmed that at least one person sustained minor injuries. Other individuals were assessed by EMTs, and an ambulance was dispatched to the scene.
Traffic was impacted in both directions but has since returned to normal after a tow crew cleared the wreckage and debris by 9:15 a.m.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash. No further details are available at this time.
