A 13-year-old sustained major injuries after being hit by a garbage truck in San Bruno, San Mateo County, on Thursday afternoon, January 30, 2025.
According to the San Bruno Police Department, the collision occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. on the 1400 block of Niles Avenue. The driver, a 37-year-old from Watsonville, remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Preliminary reports indicate that alcohol and narcotics were not factors in the crash.
