A pedestrian was struck and killed by a gray Volkswagen in Compton early Friday morning, January 24, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to the scene at approximately 12:43 a.m. at the intersection of Rosecrans and Aprilia Avenues. Upon arrival, they found the victim and the vehicle on Rosecrans Avenue’s truck lane.
