A bicyclist was seriously injured after being struck by an SUV in Shingle Springs, El Dorado County, on Tuesday evening, January 14, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 5 p.m. near Market Court and Product Drive.
Authorities reported that the bicyclist, only described as a man, suffered major injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
