[01-14-2025] Two Injured After Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Special Needs School Bus on Fair Oaks BoulevardTwo adults sustained minor injuries in a multi-vehicle collision involving a special needs school bus on Fair Oaks Boulevard in Sacramento on Tuesday afternoon, January 14, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. when the school bus ran a red light while turning left onto Fair Oaks Boulevard from eastbound Arden Way. 

The bus collided with a westbound vehicle and subsequently struck a traffic signal pole, which fell onto a third vehicle.

Two adults in their 20s and 30s, who were in the second vehicle, were transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. Five students were on the bus at the time of the crash but were not injured.

Authorities confirmed that impairment was not a factor in the collision. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
