One person was fatally injured in a three-vehicle collision on State Route 71 in Chino Hills late Thursday night, January 9, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 11:05 p.m. near the Euclid Avenue off-ramp on the southbound side of the highway.
Officers arriving at the scene discovered the victim in one of the middle lanes. The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
